Wildlife in Rocky Mountain Nat'l. Park
We saw two bull moose along a creek on the west side of the park around 5:00 p.m. today and just around the bend a cow moose and her calf. I wasn't able to get a decent picture of the cow and calf.
Around 6:15 p.m. we saw cars pulled over to the side of the road so we stopped and the elk were in a meadow very close to the road. The bull was running all over chasing the other bulls away and keeping his girls rounded up.
We also saw about 6 mule deer about 3 miles before the elk.
Still looking for a bighorn ram and a bear.
