Butte, Montana
Famous for old copper mines and historical buildings in the "hill" area of town

Our Lady of the Rockies is located on top of the Continental Divide at 8,510 feet overlooking Butte, Montana. The nondenominational 90 ft. steel statue is dedicated to all women, especially mothers. The project began 12/29/79 and was placed on site 12/20/85.

Same view, only with the zoom lens. Tours are conducted to the base of the statue.
