Multomah Falls, Oregon

The most famous waterfall in the gorge. This is a two-level waterfall. The upper falls cascade one level creating a pool of water which then continues down under the bridge creating another waterfall. The lower pool of water flows into a creek and on to the Columbia River.

This bridge is at the top of the second falls. There is a brick walled path leading up to the bridge. This bridge was built in 1914 and is very sturdy.

I took a picture of a picture in the visitor center which shows the original bridge............I'll take the 1914 bridge any day.
